Sutter Thrift Store

Sutter Thrift Shop at 3200 Cherokee at Compton in south St. Louis has completed its 19^th year of operation.

            Our manager is Rosie Caffey.  She is a tremendous encouragement to all who come to the shop.

            The shop provides the people of the area with a store that offers affordable new and used household items, furniture, clothing, shoes, and many more types of merchandise.

            Lower income families are able to find things for their home, a new dress, a pair of shoes and baby items at less than the regular retail cost.  

            "Rosie's List" – Several times a year we emphasize during the morning worship service special needs for the Thrift Shop.  

            As well as meeting an important need on the south side, the store provides financial support for Sutter Church Social Service Center and outreach ministries including Dove Ministries, an inner-city ministry in England.
